Ask whether the person is still at the address

Starts a short presence check answering whether the person is still at the address already on file. It defaults to a 5 day window needing 1 night or 2 days of evidence; any policy field you send overrides its default.

It shares the one-check-per-entity rule with a presence check: if a check is already running, that check is returned with existing: true and no new one is started.

Side effects and results are the same as for a presence check. A check is billed once, when it resolves as verified or failed, in production only. A check that ends inconclusive is not billed. Outside production the observation window runs in minutes rather than days.

A missing or unknown key returns 401 with a plain sentence in error rather than a code.

Requires a secret (sk_) key. A publishable key receives 403 secret_key_required.
