> Toden documentation. For the full index fetch /llms.txt. Every page is available as Markdown by appending .md to its URL. Identity verification uses /api/kyc, Risk Intelligence uses /api/v1; they are separate contracts with different error shapes. Never invent an endpoint, field or enum value: read the API reference page for the operation first.

# List verifications

GET https://sandbox-api.toden.co/api/kyc/verifications

Pages through your verification history, newest first, scoped to the key environment. Rows carry identifiers and states only; read one verification for its full result. Deleted records are not listed or counted.

**Error codes**

| `error` | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| `invalid_input` | 400 | A filter was not text, a date was invalid, or `from` is after `to`. |
| `invalid_status` | 400 | `status` is not a known status. |
| `Missing or invalid Authorization header` | 401 | No bearer credential was sent. |
| `Invalid API key` | 401 | The key is unknown or revoked. |
| `environment_mismatch` | 403 | The key belongs to an environment this host does not serve. |
| `origin_not_allowed` | 403 | The request origin is not on the publishable key allowlist. |
| `ip_not_allowed` | 403 | The caller address is not on the secret key allowlist. |
| `organization_suspended` | 403 | The organisation is suspended. |
| `secret_key_required` | 403 | A publishable key was used on a secret-key endpoint. |

Requires a secret (`sk_`) key. A publishable key receives `403 secret_key_required`.

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Send the API key as a Bearer token. Each operation states whether a publishable key is enough or a secret key is required.

## Servers

- `https://sandbox-api.toden.co` (Sandbox, default)
- `https://api.toden.co` (Production)

## Request

### Query parameters

- `status` (enum, optional) — Return only verifications with this top-line status. A status only an unsubmitted session can hold returns an empty page.
  - Allowed values: `not_started`, `in_progress`, `processing`, `in_review`, `awaiting_resubmission`, `approved`, `declined`, `abandoned`, `expired`, `error`, `cancelled`
- `channel` (enum, optional) — Return only capture-flow verifications (`sdk`) or spot checks (`dashboard`).
  - Allowed values: `sdk`, `dashboard`
- `subjectType` (enum, optional) — Return only individual or only business verifications.
  - Allowed values: `individual`, `business`
- `country` (string, optional) — Return only verifications for this ISO 3166 alpha-2 country code.
- `idType` (string, optional) — Return only verifications of this ID type or business lookup product.
- `workflowId` (string, optional) — Return only verifications driven by this workflow.
- `externalUserId` (string, optional) — Return only verifications carrying this reference of yours.
- `from` (string, optional) — Return only verifications created on or after this date or date-time. Must begin `YYYY-MM-DD`.
- `to` (string, optional) — Return only verifications created on or before this date or date-time. Must begin `YYYY-MM-DD`.
- `page` (integer, optional, default: 1) — The page to return.
- `pageSize` (integer, optional, default: 25) — How many verifications per page.

## Response

### 200

A page of verifications.

- `verifications` (list of VerificationListItem, required) — The verifications on this page.
- `total` (integer, required) — How many verifications match the filters.
- `page` (integer, required) — The page returned.
- `pageSize` (integer, required) — The page size applied.

## Errors

### 400 Bad Request Error

The request body, query or path was invalid.

- `error` (string, required) — A stable machine-readable code such as `invalid_input`. Authentication failures (401) carry a short sentence here instead of a code.
- `message` (string, optional) — A human-readable explanation, safe to log. The wording may change.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

The Authorization header is missing, or the API key is unknown or revoked.

- `error` (string, required) — A stable machine-readable code such as `invalid_input`. Authentication failures (401) carry a short sentence here instead of a code.
- `message` (string, optional) — A human-readable explanation, safe to log. The wording may change.

### 403 Forbidden Error

The key may not call this endpoint, or the organisation may not use this feature.

- `error` (string, required) — A stable machine-readable code such as `invalid_input`. Authentication failures (401) carry a short sentence here instead of a code.
- `message` (string, optional) — A human-readable explanation, safe to log. The wording may change.

## Types

### VerificationListItem

One verification, without personal data.

- `verificationId` (string, required) — The verification identifier.
- `requestId` (string, required) — The idempotency key the submission was sent with.
- `externalUserId` (string, required, nullable) — Your reference for the subject.
- `metadata` (map from string to any, required, nullable) — Your customer metadata, as stored. Bounded: at most 16 KiB, four levels deep and 100 keys.
- `channel` (string, required) — How the verification was started: `sdk` for capture flows, `dashboard` for spot checks.
- `subjectType` (enum, required) — Whether an individual or a business was verified.
  - Allowed values: `individual`, `business`
- `status` (enum, required) — The top-line status.
  - Allowed values: `not_started`, `in_progress`, `processing`, `in_review`, `awaiting_resubmission`, `approved`, `declined`, `abandoned`, `expired`, `error`, `cancelled`
- `checkStatus` (enum, required) — What the checks themselves found.
  - Allowed values: `pending`, `verified`, `failed`, `not_found`, `error`
- `reasonCode` (string, required, nullable) — A stable code for why the checks did not pass.
- `country` (string, required) — ISO 3166 alpha-2 country code.
- `idType` (string, required) — The ID type, or the business lookup product.
- `workflowId` (string, required, nullable) — The public identifier of the workflow that drove the submission, or null when none did.
- `workflowVersion` (integer, required, nullable) — The published workflow version that ran.
- `createdAt` (datetime, required) — When the verification was created.
- `completedAt` (datetime, required, nullable) — When the checks finished, or null while they run.
- `businessName` (string, optional, nullable) — The registered business name. Present on business rows only.
